During this internship I worked on SAP-integrated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and OCR-based document processing pipelines at the Austrian Federal Computing Centre. I designed and implemented an LLM-based retrieval-augmented chatbot that allows users to query SAP data in natural language, and I helped improve document processing by integrating OCR-powered automation to reduce manual work and increase accuracy.

The role gave me hands-on experience with enterprise data workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-enhanced text extraction in a public-sector context. I also contributed to CI/CD and deployment pipelines used for AI models and related software, ensuring reliable and repeatable releases.
